After over a year of campaigning Keith Perry was named the winner in the Republican primary for State Representative in District 22. The seat being vacated by Speaker of the House Larry Cretul is an important one for conservatives across the district and they have spoken loud and clear. They have chosen Keith Perry, who ran a clean, honest race republicans can be proud of. As a successful businessman, community activist and conservative family man, Perry plans to bring a principled, common sense approach to the seat regarding spending, taxation, regulation and growth in our community.

The energy was electric last night at Napolatano’s, a locally-owned restaurant on Tower Road in Gainesville that hosted the celebration last night and many campaign events for Perry over the passed year.

“I did my part and chose to work hard campaigning for this seat, but it really was a team effort. I am so grateful to my amazing family and friends, all our donors, staff and volunteers and am really overwhelmed right now by the outpooring of support,” said Perry last night after the announcement was made that he had clearly won the majority vote in all three counties. The Perry Team was out in full strength over the last few weeks of voting and the signs were everywhere. It paid off and they celebrated momentarily before it’s time to dig in once again for the general election.

“It’s not over yet. We are one giant leap toward victory, but we need everyone to help out and jump on-board to ensure a win in the general election in November,” said Perry.

FRSA Endorses Keith Perry for State Rep!

The Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association has officially endorsed Keith Perry, owner of Perry Roofing Contractors, for State Representative, District 22. “It would be fantastic to have in the Florida House of Representatives a roofing contractor who understands our industry and our needs,” said FRSA President Dave Cumming.” He was invited to speak at the FRSA’s June convention in Orlando where he received an outpooring of support from this industry so pivotal to Florida’s economy.

Keith Perry Officially Qualifies for State House

On Wednesday, June 16th, Keith Perry’s name was officially added to the ballot for State House, District 22. With more valid petitions turned in than any other candidate, Perry was added to the ballot for the August primary. “I am so grateful to all the volunteers we had at events, churches and in neighborhoods getting these petitions signed for us. I am humbled and encouraged by the support,” said Perry.

The AIA Endorses Keith Perry!

On February 25th, The Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) announced its official endorsement of Keith Perry for State Representative. The Florida Architects Political Action Committee generously gifted Perry (shown here with Robert Hanselman, AIA Architect) with a check for $500 to be applied toward the campaign.

How to Register to Vote

Follow these instructions to register to vote. For more information, visit the Florida Division of Elections.

Fill in the Voter Registration Application online. If you wish, you can print the application and write your information in with a black ballpoint pen.
Print the application out.
Verify that all of the information on your application is complete. The office where you register, your decision not to register, your Social Security Number, Florida driver’s license number and your Florida identification card number will remain confidential and will be used only for voter registration purposes.
Sign your application. The application requires an original signature because you are swearing or affirming to an oath.
Place the application in an envelope with a first class stamp.
Mail the application to your county Supervisor of Elections. You may also opt to mail or hand deliver the application to any Supervisor of Elections’ office in the state, a driver’s license office, a voter registration agency, an armed forces recruitment office, or the Division of Elections.
If your application is complete and you qualify as a voter, the Supervisor of Elections will mail you a voter information card as official notification that you are registered to vote. Make sure all of the information on your card is correct. If you do not receive your card within 8 weeks, or if you have any questions, call your Supervisor of Elections.
You must be registered for at least 29 days before you can vote in an election.
